Biography

Dr. Caglar is a Senior Research Associate at the Istanbul University, Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Analytical Chemistry. She conducted post-doctoral research at Medical Center of Munich University, Institute of Laboratory Medicine Laboratory of BioSeparation with a main focus of hyphenation of mass spectrometry with on-line sample processing between the years 2011-2013. She studied Chemical Engineering and had Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees at Istanbul University, Institute of Health Sciences Department of Analytical Chemistry on drug analysis in pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids by spectrophotometry and liquid chromatography.

Research Interest

Dr. Caglar is eager to expand on knowledge in the field of biological/clinical mass spectrometry through both observation and experimentation methodologies. Recent experience with on-line sample processing coupled with liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry in the pharma/clinical arena, focusing on biological fluids analysis. She has researches under review in drug analysis in biological fluids by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, on-line solid phase extraction coupled liquid chromatography, multidimensional chromatography and publications in drug analysis in pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids by high performance liquid chromatography, spectrophotometry and spectrofluorimetry, also degradation, pharmacokinetic and validation studies.
