Biography
Chen long Duan, male, born in Inner Mongolia in 1978, is a professor of mineral processing, the vice dean of graduate school, China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). Chen long Duan is a member of American Society of Engineering Education, youth council of Chinese Society of Particuology and has been nominated as Standard English Interpreting Expert for Coal Industrial Engineering Construction Project. Since September, 2007 up to now, Chen long Duan has been teaching and researching mineral processing, especially electronical waste recycling, clean coal technology and dry separation theory and technology, in CUMT. Chen long Duan published more than 180 papers in international journals, Chinese journals and symposiums, including Separation Science and Technology, International Journal of Mineral Processing, Fuel Processing Technology, Fuel, etc., and applied 10 invention patents in USA and China. In last two decades, Chen long Duan completed more than 20 scientific research projects and won many awards, including the second class award of national technical invention, the first class award of science and technology advancement of Ministry of Education of China.
Research Interest
Main research interests in physical mineral processing theory and technology which conclude dry beneficiation theory and clean coal technology. Meanwhile, main research interests also concentrate on selective comminution, classification and physical separation, were applied to recycling the electronic waste which can not only prevent potential environmental pollution, but also achieve recycling of secondary resources.
